Instructions for completing Application for Admission

This is to inform all prospective applicants that the sale of forms for admission into the CITN Tax Academy has commenced.#

Minimum Entry/Admission Requirements Into The Academy
1.    The admission requirements for Certificate courses shall be a minimum of Five O’Level Credits (including English Language and Mathematics) at no more than two (2) sittings. Matured Candidates not below 25 years old and in relevant employment may also be considered as well as holders of first degree/HND in any field or any recognized professional qualification.

2.    Admission requirements for Diploma courses shall be any 3 CITN Tax Academy Certificates, and other conditions as stated in 1 above or holders of the following certificates in non-Taxation related courses: 
i.    National Diploma (ND);
ii.    Diploma (from any recognized Nigerian/Foreign Universities); 
iii.    Any other equivalent qualifications; 
iv.    Matured Candidates not below 25 years old and in relevant employment may also be considered. 

3.    Admission requirements for Post Graduate Diploma Programmes shall be a minimum of First Degree/HND in any field or any recognized Professional qualification such as ACTI, ACA, BL, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, ACIS, ACS, ACIB, ICSAN, ACIIN, AMNIM, ACIA, ACIPMN, ACE, etc.

For purposes of clarity and emphasis, the steps to successful admission are as follows:
Application and Registration Procedure:
1.    Obtain O'Level at not more than 2 sittings, including credit in English and Mathematics
2.    Have your original and copies of your credentials
3.    Pay N5,000 to the partner Institution of your choice and obtain receipt there
4.    Obtain Application form from the partner Institution or its website
5.    Fill and submit hard copies, with copies of credentials to the partner Institution
6.    Upon receipt of offer of provisional admission by email/SMS;
    Proceed to pay Registration sum of N5,000 and tuition fees of N70,000 to CITN Tax Academy
    Proceed to Student portal and sign on with sign in credentials sent during admission notification to obtain admission letter
7.    Fill database management form and submit within student portal
8.    Download and print Lecture timetable
9.    Pay N15,000 and obtain your student material

Remember, issuance of Provisional Admission requires you to have done the following:
Screened at the Study Centre
Paid N5,000 Student registration and N70,000 Tuition fee to CTA
Signed up on the Student portal to access letter of provisional admission

Progression to Diploma in Applied Taxation:
1.    Must have obtained 3 Certificates at the Certificate level in addition to basic requirements for entry for certificate programme

Progression to Advanced Diploma in Applied Taxation:
1.    Must have passed the Diploma in Taxation Course in addition to basic requirements for entry for certificate programme

Student of the Academy
A student is one that:
1. Meets the minimum requirements for entry into the course for which he/she has applied;
2. Has applied for his/her chosen course of study;
3. Has been duly issued a letter of provisional Admission for the applied Course of Study into the Academy;
4. Has duly registered for the Course for which he has been issued an Admission letter
